The Success of Macroeconomic Policies of Selected Countries of North Africa

Abstract—The aim of the article was to analyze the success of economic policies of selected countries of North Africa - Egypt, Sudan and Morocco. The success was compared using the method of comparison in selected macroeconomic indicators such as gross domestic product growth rate, the share of current account deficit to gross domestic product, inflation rate and the unemployment rate from 2007 to 2012. For this comparison graphical form of magic quadrangle was chosen. From the resulting data magical quadrangle has shown that the most successful economic policy is implemented by Morocco, followed by Egypt and Sudan occupies last place.
