Abstract—This paper systematically explores the fundamental psychological principle of seeking advantages and avoiding disadvantages as a critical driver of human behavior under risk. By integrating perspectives from incentive theory, expectation theory, and the behavioral economics frame effect, the study reveals how individuals weigh potential gains against possible losses and how these cognitive processes influence risk-related decision making. Further, the paper examines the optimization of risk management systems through the application of equity theory, psychological contract theory, and reward and punishment theory, thereby illustrating the complex interplay between psychological incentives and behavioral risk management. Drawing on both theoretical models and empirical evidence, the research demonstrates that aligning intrinsic motivational factors with structured risk control mechanisms can significantly enhance decision-making efficacy and mitigate adverse behavioral outcomes. Ultimately, the paper proposes an innovative optimization strategy that harmonizes psychological motivation with behavioral risk prevention, offering a comprehensive framework that not only deepens our understanding of the psychological underpinnings of risk behavior but also provides practical guidelines for developing resilient and effective risk management systems in dynamic organizational environments (Power, 2007).
